A notarised letter of guardianship is required if the parent or legal guardian is not present at check-in.When booking 3 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Please note that smoking of any kind is not allowed in the building.Packages and/or letters cannot be accepted on behalf of guests. Any items received will be returned to the sender. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to our guests.Our air-conditioning is seasonal. In New York City, the heating season runs from October 1 through May 31, during which hotels must maintain specific indoor temperatures. We do not have built-in AC. Our air conditioners are manually installed in the windows during the summer and removed at the start of the heating season in October. Depending on the weather, installation or removal may occur slightly earlier or later, but we always comply with NYC heating regulations.Air-conditioning is available from June 1 to October 1, or slightly later depending on the weather, and is not guaranteed outside this period.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The hotel is in a great location, close to subway 23rd street and other stops on this street, but also walking distance everywhere. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Hotel is older and so is the equipment but everything is clean and cleaned on daily basis, even your room if you wish. Our room was facing the yard so the street noise was subtle. Shared shower was always available and even though it was right next to our room, we were not bothered. The greatest was the breakfast that was not even expected since it was not mentioned during booking. Wide choice of food, same every day, which was ok. No breakfast on sundays. There is also coffee tea and water available all day. Nice touch were the earplugs provided.

Perfect place near the city. Very simple but has all the needs. The free breakfast is REALLY good, the staff really kind and the hotel in general is pretty clean. Nothing bad to say about it.
