River Shack is an excellently equipped and superbly located wee bolt hole that was just perfect for my six day stay in the Nelson/Richmond area. It's much bigger on the inside than it looks in the pictures, everything worked, everything you might need for a self-catering holiday was there and the location was stunning, even when the rain was bouncing off the roof! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

The river view and fresh air are incredible! Super friendly host. Very clean, safe and comfortable place, well facilitated. There was no hair dryer or toiletries, but no biggie for us, just remember to bring your own:) Rest assured, you are going to love this place!

The River Shack was very well appointed and in a lovely location with sheep and lambs running around in the paddock beside the accommodation. There was a beautiful river running nearby which provided a beautiful soundtrack to our stay. The wifi was more than adequate and the kitchen and bathroom was clean and had everything we needed.
