Absolutely perfect place to relax. Scrupulously clean, staff all so friendly and helpful and really quiet location. It is not in a touristy area but very safe to wander around and see village life. Hotel will arrange a tuktuk to take you to Negombo (bit too far to walk). Nature lovers will love the lagoon tour they offer, we saw such a variety of birds.

My flight got cancelled because of the Cyclone so I had to stay an extra day in Sri Lanka which is why I ended up staying at Ziegler Cottage and it really turned a bad situation into a nice one! I really enjoyed my stay - I felt so well looked after, the outside area / pool is gorgeous and the location right by the sea means you fall to sleep hearing the waves! The food was really good too. My Uber cancelled to take me to the airport, so they woke up at 4:30am to drive me themselves. Would highly recommend staying here!

we like the pool just the beach i disappoint because i was think to stay for the new year and the beach you not allowed to swim because have a lot rocks but the rest is fine
