Great staff. Great location down a small sidestreet right by the beach. And a decent breakfast that makes you full.

We were sadly delayed arriving by 24 hours due to airline problems but still came to Star Beach for a few hours on arrival to collect delivered train tickets and use the booked room to shower and freshen up. Lovely pool, comfortable and large rooms, very good breakfast and friendly staff. We enjoyed the few hours so much that we rebooked for our last night in Sri Lanka.

The room was big enough with good a/c.and storage. We had nice towels. It had a swimming pool but we didn't use it. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. We were able to get a couple of cold beers to have on our balcony.

Staff and location to beach were fantastic 👌. Staff were lovely and kind. Location right on the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
