We really enjoyed our stay at serendib. The staff was lovely. We loved our room with the tree trunk inside and all the plants ect in the bathroom,breakfast was also a highlight and I liked how there was lots of options on the platter. Lastly the house had just taken in 5 little puppies that were found on the street,we loved having them around and had lots of cuddles with them and it was nice to know the serendib village guest house was trying there best to find them a loving home!

The Guest House was a very good place to arrive in Sri Lanka. I had a really nice driver who picked me up at the Airport. In the Hotel is a nice Pool, where you can relax after the long flight. The location is also very good. You eat breakfast on a terrace with a beautiful view on a small river and it is very calm at night. Also the breakfast is huge! When you leave the guest house, you can walk to the main street in about 5 minutes, where you have many restaurants and souvenir shops! Also to the beach it is only a ten minutes walk. From the airport it is a 30 minutes drive. The room was very clean with good air conditioning, towels and even a hair dryer. The best for me was the hotel owner, who is very friendly and helped me with a taxi driver who tried to scam me. He organised a new and very honest driver. Thank you very much!

The Staffel is very friedlich, the breakfast is very good. It was the perfect stay for our first night in Sri Lanka.
