I stayed at JMF as a quick stop due to a late arrival to colombo and a long day of travel for my next destination; Galle. Over all fhe room was basic, but clean. I slept well and found the bed to be comfy. Though, youll need to bring your own shampoo and soap as there was none in the room. Luckily i had some. The biggest thing that stood out was the host and his kindness. He helped me order a ride to colombo and offered information to me. Happy with the room. Very happy with the host.

- Amazing staff, made me feel so welcome and gave valuable info about location, buses etc - Tasty breakfast - Comfortable room, good size, AC and other facilities worked perfectly - Very private and quiet location but close to beach, restaurants, airport etc Would come here again any time!

We stayed here on the first and last night of our trip. A great stop over for the airport as it's just 20 minutes away. We were heavily delayed and our luggage got lost at the airport. They were incredibly understanding, allowing us to arrive the next morning and sleep for a few hours, as well as ensuring the safe arrival and storage of our luggage a week later. We really appreciated Basil and the staff, who were welcoming and kind. The breakfast was good and allowed us to keep going for the day and the rooms are air conditioned and a good size.
