Located in Neauphle-le-Château in the heart of the Yvelines district, Clos Saint Nicolas is set in an elegant, 19th-century manor house. Surrounded by a wooded park, it offers 2 gardens and a furnished veranda. Central Paris is 40 km away and the Château de Versailles is a 20-minute drive away.

We were surprised at the size of the property and grounds. The main house is beautiful.Our chalet(chambre d’hotes) was immaculately clean with plenty of room inside, great power shower, self catering facilities if you needed them but we ate out in the evening so didn’t need them. Underfloor heating, was nice but also had air conditioning in the room if you’re staying in the summer months. Breakfast,which is served in the conservatory, was delicious, with more than enough to eat and drink. Francois, our host, was friendly and made us feel really welcome. Although we didn’t use it, there is an outdoor swimming pool in the garden which was surrounded by sun loungers which would be a great place to relax in summer.

The breakfast was excellent, the homemade jams in particular were brilliant as was the choice of available fresh fruits, dried fruits and nuts.

Greatest breakfast and lovely owner Francois took so well care of us. We had a girls weekend full of rest and enjoyed this hotel to it's fullest for a long weekend. Will definately go back.
