The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

Beautiful old hotel updated for the modern conveniences. Nice breakfast. Very kind man who works at the reception. Easy access to the old city, minutes from everything. Awesome rooftop space. Highly recommended.

Brilliant location, but be prepared to transport luggage from the car on foot as the car park is outside the old city. Breakfast was plentiful, mainly Arabic, with additional made to order omelettes and limited cereal. There was no fresh fruit/ yoghurt and the pastries had all been eaten by the time we had breakfast on our 1st morning, so we didn’t realise they were an option. However, on our last morning we were the only people having breakfast and had 5 star treatment!

The staff was exceptionally kind and courteous. The breakfast was amazing, nothing was lacking. Michel Sr. is a very impressive man and very hospitable. All in all a very positive experience.
