“Great lodging by the Beach and ferry terminal”

Great large place to chill by the beach. Can see stars at night. Very central and lots of great value for money home made Greek food. Easy to get to other place of interest. Fully equipped kitchen. Super comfy cosy beds. Heater for the winter kept us nice and warm. Lots of friendly cats too. Just 20mins walk away from ferry terminal. Mike the owner send us back to the ferry terminal. We rented car from them for 2 days to explore the island. It’s a manual car but we are good with it. Aircon of car didn’t work but it’s fine as it’s winter and the fresh air was good enough.

This was a fantastic stay! Throughout the whole process from booking to checkout the host was regularly communicating and responsive in a friendly way, going out his way to support me with various requests and recommendations. The apartment was nicely furnished, comfortable bed, adequate kitchen amenities. Location was perfect, close to the beach and city centre. Would highly recommend!!

Excellent location, right next to the beach and less than a 10 minute walk to the town centre, I also walked from the airport (35 mins) but the owner very kindly arranged a transfer back when I left. I didn’t use the kitchen facilities other than the kettle and fridge, but it all seemed adequate and well equipped for cooking small meals, I thought it was excellent value for money even though it was out of season. Bed was comfortable too!

Mike was an incredible host - picked us up from the ferry and dropped us to the airport at the end of our stay. We also rented a cheap scooter from him and it was convenient and straightforward. He was responsive too - always responding within 24hours to the booking.com messages or if not, via call. The room was gorgeous! Sea view and just 20m or so from touching the sand of the beachfront. Beachside restaurants are close by and the supermarket is about a 5min walk. Water was apparently not drinkable from the tap so we bought bottled water the first time then refilled it from the drinking fountain (google it) roughly 10min walk away. Watch out for the gorgeous but nosey cats! Especially if you're not a cat person - they are everywhere and one came into the apartment despite us never getting them food.
