The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. Hey, the converted truck is a low cost option for a family of 5 to be able to travel to the north. it was comfortable, all bedding provided, and even had a shower and toilet in the truck (i thought we would have to use the communal toilets as in the case with most glamping options). in my opinion this was a level up from glamping comfort wise, but for the same price. we were really happy, we loved the vibe at natur kibbutz.
