Lodges Overview

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available.
Guests have a choice of rooms with shared or private bathrooms. Most rooms include Smart TVs. Some rooms feature a fully equipped kitchen.
The Plateau Lodge offers a guest laundry, breakfast trays, lunch packs and massage services. The tour desk can recommend local attractions and help guests with travel arrangements.

+ Big and nice room + Restaurant and supermarket nearby + good for exploring Tongariro Nationalpark + very clean - small bathroom - small table and only 4 chairs for up to 6 people

Our room was large, very clean and well appointed with great access to the adjacent car park. Beds were plush and comfortable, and the wi-fi connected with minimal hassle. There was no road noise, and we slept well. In summary, perfect for our needs.

Bed too soft for me, and the pink couches in the lounge torture to sit on for anyone under 2 metres tall😉 But a nice communal space and good kitchen

Fantastic place to stsy in Tongariro national park. Had private rooms at reasonable price, shared bathrooms but a huge mirror and sink in the bedroom. Big lounge area that is colourful and relaxed with stunning photos and a log fire Will definitely be back to stay Thankyou!
