I have no hesitation in recommending Ravenna. We’ve stayed in some fabulous places on several continents, and this was up there with the best. Just go there! Every aspect of our stay was perfect. From the setting, to the warm welcome from Danny and Lisa, and the sublime rooms and furnishings, we simply could not have asked for better. This was an experience full of modern comfort, old world charm and attention to the tiniest detail. Lisa and Danny are wonderful hosts and a treasure trove of information about the local area. We were looking for a couple of peaceful and relaxing days, which we received in abundance. The pool area was very much appreciated. Restaurants within 15 min walk. And a breakfast to die for. Lisa - the pecan muffins were first rate!

An absolutely stunning period house steeped in history and with Southern hospitality in abundance thanks to Mary Beth and Carl. (and not forgetting Lisa) The antique furnishings, ambience and a lovely relaxing setting and beautifully presented breakfasts, our stay here was most certainly the highlight of our trip. We were lucky enough to be able to join one of the Pilgrimage Tours of the house just after we arrived which was very enjoyable and interesting. Downtown Natchez is a very pleasant 10/15 minute walk from the house and is a very nice town to stroll around, with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop with very nice views over the river. We would very highly recommend staying in Ravenna and would hope to stay here again. Many Thanks Mary Beth and Carl for the lovely welcome! Bernie and Stephen
