Everything was wonderful. The location couldn't be better, it felt like everything was in walking distance. But despite being right in the middle of everything, it was totally quiet and really peaceful. None of the noise or bustle from the street reaches in, it feels very secluded. The outdoor terrace is gorgeous, with a view of Mt Vesuvius. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts Mario and Manuela are so kind, warm, and welcoming! We stayed with my mother (who is in her 70s) and my two young kids, and we all agree it was the perfect place to stay. The building has such great character too! Mario and Manuela really went above and beyond in taking care of us. Mario sat down with me at check in and spent some time going over the area, giving recommendations for restaurants, and good places to go with the kids, like playgrounds and places they could run off their energy safely. And when the weather turned rainy, he helped immediately book us a taxi to the ferry port for the next morning! Manuela is so kind, and her pastiera cake was incredibly delicious!

I had a wonderful stay at The Taggarb. The people running the bed and breakfast are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The building itself is full of character and idiosyncrasy, which adds to the overall charm of the experience. Its central location is ideal for exploring the area, and the views of Mount Vesuvius from the balcony are simply stunning. The space is impeccably clean, and the breakfasts are prepared with great care and attention and you can really feel the love that goes into them. All in all, it offers a very good value for money and provides a truly immersive experience of Neapolitan culture, thanks in large part to Manuela’s and Mario’s knowledge, warmth and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Manuela and her breakfast feast was delicious. Both savory and sweet options to satisfy everyone. Mario and Daniel were great hosts and helped us organizing our transportation. The location of the B&B is very central and still quiet for a good night rest.
