Breakfast was basic but ok. We had to request items such as bowls and spoons, and service a little idiosynchratic. Reception staff were very helpful and the location perfect for access to the metro and nearby restaurants.

It's a perfectly nice building, I wouldn't call it modest. The staff does their best and I actually like the eclectic antique furnishings. The bathroom is acceptable, though showers are somewhat quirky. The bed is not my favourite kind, but if you like to sink into a bed, you'll like it. If you like a firm mattress and a high pillow, you won't. The location is not bad by Naples standards, but it is quite out of the way of all the sites and you will need to use the metro. Don't even think about a bus. You. Will. Never. Get there.

The location is cool. Not historic Naples but close to the sea and Posilipo. The hotel is old fashioned but cute and the staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and generous provision of linens. Breakfast is basic but the signora makes damn good coffee <3
