Despite what it looked like outside of the building, the inside was very clean. The tiled floor had been freshly washed. The sheets on all the beds were crisp and clean, almost like you would find in a good hotel. The kitchen had enough plates, cutlery and cups for our family of five. It has an oven which looked like it has not been used. The bed was on the firm side. It was over 35 degrees outside during the 3 nights we stayed so the air conditioning in the living room/dining room was a welcome. There are two bedrooms which are off the living space and internal (and therefore no external windows but did have glass bricks to bring in light from the living area) and each room has a door that opens to the dining/living area. We opened the doors at night so that the air conditioning can reach the rooms. The windows are double glazed and there are shutters outside the windows to make the room dark at night. It is about 10 minute walk to the train station. Around the block facing the train station is a great bakery and MD supermarket where we got our supplies. The famous Da Michele Pizzeria is 5 minute walk away. Communication was quick and easy
