David “Excellent short-stay base in northern Naples”

Balcony House is in a nice area a little out to the northwest of the main old city, but within an easy walk. It’s in a fairly quiet residential part of town with small supermarkets, shops and eateries all nearby, wide streets and a safe feel, and very close to the Materdei Metro entrance. Also a very walkable distance to the start of the main city area and piazza Dante, as well as the excellent national archaeological museum. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with a small lift to get up and down, or wide stairs. The building is in good condition well maintained. Other residents are evidently getting on with their family lives and it all feels very civilised. The apartment is lovely, with two large bedrooms (one directly off the main lounge area), spacious with solid tiled floors, and all very clean and well-ordered. There’s loads of storage, plenty of drawers everywhere and good hanging space. It feels very secure, with a very solid double-locking front door. Good Wi-Fi signal. The clue is in the name - the balcony/ies are really great, giving fine views over to the east/southeast of the city outskirts, including volcanoes in the distance. You can sit out and track the planes coming and going into the airport over the hill - they tend to go in bursts, but there are also long periods with no planes at all.

The apartment was spacious and clean with a great balcony. It was nice to have coffee, cookies and jam/nutella in the kitchen. The bathroom was well equipped, including a hairdryer. The host was nice and helpful. The location was great, close to the metro, but you could also walk to the city center. Supermarket and excellent pizzeria nearby.

Lorenzo the host was very helpful and organised a Taxi for us from and back to the airport. He was always available for any requests and was very friendly. The apartment was very well located - just a few steps away from the metro station Materdei and two supermarkets. The flat was clean, big and had a very nice balcony - towels were included.

Everything was great! It was big, clean, very clean :), good location close to Metro,well equipped! Lorenzo is great, too! He will go above and beyond to provide everything you need! Highly recommended!
