The location was great ---- it was far enough from the noisy main area that we didn't worry about a ton of noise or craziness outside. It was quiet, and up a hill, so it took a mild amount of effort to get there. We loved the location, because we enjoyed the 7 - 10 minutes it took to get to the main part of town. There was a mini-mart two blocks away with a great wine selection, and friendly owner. There isn't a restaurant within the immediate area, and it is 3 - 4 blocks downhill to a cafe for breakfast, if you want one. We noted some complaints in past reviews about the location - walking up the hill, lack of parking, etcetera, and we had a car, but we didn't have any problems. The room was modern a just fine for a couple, but was cosy. Perfect to explore town but not be in the thick of it for 24/7.
