Staff were lovely, free toast was great. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Lots of bikes do hire them here.

Perfect location, very quiet, comfortable beds, super clean. Simple breakfast provided. You can hire bikes to explore the island.

I had a lovely and comfortable stay here. The room was small but perfect for one. I guess if there are two ppl and they have bigger luggages, then it may be a bit challenging. I love the welcome matcha drink with sweets and it was such a nice and unexpected touch. I had the breakfast option and it was great. The portion is really filling and there is a variety to choose from. I cannot gush enough on how nice the owner is who was worried that I had to make my way back from the light show and came all the way to pick me up and even stopped at the convenience store for me to grab a light dinner. For that I am very grateful. I love everything here and will definitely stay again the next time I come back to Naoshima.

Let‘s start with the good: Location is close to the Harbor and the 7-Eleven (supermarket). However, most restaurants and sightseeings are on the other side of the island. This is a 10min drive with your bike. Bikes are for rental (1500 Yen for one day). The twin room we got is just too small for two adults. The price is too expensive (175 USD per night) for what you get. No rental bikes included, no luggage storage after checkout, checkout already at 10:00, breakfast is 10min walk. Breakfast is at Sparky‘s coffee. You have a choice of 3 set menus. What I would suggest: Clean the bathroom filters, offer free of charge luggage storage and optional pickup if you have luggage. They have enough staff, so why not offer pickup/drop off if you have luggage? If the rate would be cheaper, I would give this stay a 4 out of 5. Check available rooms if you are 2 adults or have large luggage.

The location was a short walk from the main ferry terminal on Naoshima. The cabins were self-contained, and had everything we needed. Being able to hire ebikes on site was a bonus. The staff were very helpful.

Sparky's House is great. The room was like a little chalet with twin beds and loads of room. It has a little balcony outside and even a kitchenette with a hot plate. There's access to a microwave and there's a 7/11 5 minutes walk a way. The staff are great and really helpful. It also has bike hire on site and a short walk away you can have your breakfast in Sparky's Coffee Shop. Naoshima is beautiful.
