The fine print
Please note that there are no ensuite facilities. However, guests have the first floor entirely to themselves with exclusive use of both a full bathroom and a separate shower room. When a party reserves only one room, the other is always made unavailable for booking by anyone else for the duration of their stay so there is no sharing with strangers.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Beautiful old farmhouse steeped in history. Great to be able to read about it, and the former owners, in the little booklet provided in the room - very interesting. The house is really quirky - so lovely. We even had a tour of the old dairy farm. Philippa and Dieter are lovely, warm, very welcoming people. Breakfast was delicious & lots to choose from. A hot breakfast is available to order and freshly made in front of you! Delicious.

A cosy warm, rambling house with a fascinating history (detailed in a little booklet in our bedroom). Full of interesting furniture and artwork, books and memorabilia. A generous, fresh, and very tasty breakfast, and fresh milk for tea or coffee in our room. It was hidden away in a fold of the surrounding countryside. Proper black sky at night - so the stars were bright. There is a book binding business in a neighbouring building run by the hosts - and we were granted a tour. Truly skilled craftsmanship. We will return!

Beautiful location, STUNNING house! Philippa and Dita are extremely friendly and welcoming, as were their two beautiful dogs. There was a lovely sense of calm in the house and it's surroundings. We were sad to only be staying for one night!
