The property is very conveniently located at the heart of the ile Feydeau district, on a street lined with bars and restaurants. The furnishings were stylish and the kitchen well equipped, including basic condiments and spices. Having read previous reviews, we booked this property in the knowledge that it is situated on the top floor of an eighteenth-century building with no lift, includes a few unusually low doors, a smell of sewers in the bathroom, and that the street is busy at night time, which is only a problem if you keep the windows open. There are several bakeries and a Carrefour supermarket very close by - most attractions and the railway station are 10-15 minutes on foot.

The location was excellent, very central, and reasonably quiet. Easy 1km walk from the railway station. The facilities were modern and clean and the manager who met us at the door was communicative and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the shower was good. But....
