I didn’t get breakfast. But I bought coffee in a morning from reception and happily sat outside in the gardens the coffee was 2.80 euro. Reasonable and very tasty. I took two lovely out of town trips. Clisson for the day was breath taking and only 6.20 euro each way. The castle was perfect and river near by for picnic lunch I took a beach day to Pornic again fabulous another castle and beach hut bar for recliners and beer The shops were great there again 13.20euro each way. From staton which is 14 minute walk. The airport bus stop is also near by 10.00 euro every 20mins just at the side of the station and you can pay on the bus . I had a pizza and cocktails that was very tasty near the The Grand Elephant. I googled all the nice places I bought a cooked chicken and prepared my lunches for my travels limited on cups so if you passs a little store buy yourself a cheap mug sip your tea in bed then. The castle too was beautiful. I googled all the places to visit in Nantes and was not disappointed I have to say the Japanese Gardens was my favourite spot with water fall and the walk there was scenic with the boats and little bars. The place is quite a panic to find initially but it was well sign posted on the iron gates just on arrival you don’t see it but google maps will take you to the gates. Overall I may return one day but I think I have managed to tick of Nantes now on my touring. You won’t be disappointed but remember it’s a short stop and your not in there all day so what does it matter it’s a bed and place of safety the staff were lovely and helpful the lift worked I don’t know why people write bad reviews I found it ok and I am a bit of a snob the shower was great I stayed In 607A 5 nights no problems walked a lot of steps over the days thank you. I didn’t get bit by mosquitoes either and normally they eat me alive. Hope this helps others . Take the trip life is for living. Take the good with the bad I found it perfect for what I wanted.

The staff are very accomodating. They are so kind to check me in before 5pm the usual check in time.
