Beautiful location - even if it's a bit hard to find in the dark. Wildlife was amazing, birds everywhere. Incredibly comfortable bed, and it was so peaceful. We will definitely be back.

The location above the river is amazing. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the river and the trees was so serene. The architecture of the house itself was lovely too, especially with the glass.

We loved this remote little getaway and will definitely be back! It is off grid with a Nature loo, right on the Blackwood river .. what better way to immerse yourself in nature! Good to get there before dark as it’s a bit of a windy off road track but worth it! Xx

This property is well and truly off the grid, although only 15 minutes into town. No phone reception, just the sounds of nature. Right next to the babbling Blackwood River and surrounded by trees, we saw ducks, finches and robins among others. Not so off-grid that there wasn't water and electricity, there was a hot shower, kettle, toaster and small fridge.
