The staff were fantastic, especially Ty, who used google translate a lot and was super hospitable, friendly, and helpful. Views from the balcony were top notch, and my partner was able to go fishing from the steps with Ty. Both food stores across the street were delicious and cheap.

Such friendly people and always there to answer anything about your stay. You can cook here if you want to, just buy fresh seafood from the market. Yes, it's basic and off the beaten track but if you want to be the only European surrounded by friendly Vietnamese then this the place to be.

Wonderful place with cosy terrasse right next to the ocean, incredibly sweet staff that help with anything, they cook delicious food and coffe, spaceous clean room with AC, water refill station, all in all the best deal on the island. Only downside: beach is 4km walk away (that's the case for all hotels on namdu, but they rent motorbikes) If we are around vietnam ever again we will definitely came back for a week or more. Time on the island passes slower and the beach is practically empty until evening, when the locals come for a quick swim.
