“Cool architecture, sweet dog!”

The architecture is awesome and intriguing. Being by a waterfall and karura forest makes the site very beautiful, peaceful and bucolic, and there are nice spaces outside to chill and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The resident doggy, Sandy, is a delight! We appreciated a wide range of nice hot beverages we could help ourselves to any time.

The hospitality of Norman was exceptional. He invited us for a barbecue, got medication for us when we were sick, was always helpful and responsive when we needed anything. The property offered plenty of opportunities to get comfortable, coffee and bananas were provided throughout the day. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean.

This was honestly one of the best places I have stayed in the world (and I have travelled a fair amount). The warm welcome and family feel was next to none. Amazing location, with beautiful surroundings. Wonderful hosts with all you could wish for, friendly, welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and at home. The room was wonderful and the sound of the waterfall was soothing. Tea, coffee, water, gnuts and bananas on tap was an excellent bonus. I cannot express how wonderful our stay was and if you are coming to Nairobi it is a must stay. Thank you so much to Norman and the team for our wonderful stay. We’ll see you next time!

Beautiful environment, very helpful staff, great breakfast. Bit out of town but Uber works well and cheap.
