Amenities were good, rooms were clean and large in size and staff were very helpful. In particular, it was nice not to be treated like cattle and asked to check ourselves in, like at the other four hotels we stayed in during our trip. The buffet breakfast was also very nice.

The location is great, within walking distance of JR Nagano Station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are large and clean, with a great view of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel was great and tasty, a lot of Japanese dishes. The restaurant itself has beautiful examples of Japanese art and the atmosphere itself is more reminiscent of an expensive Japanese restaurant.

Very conveniently located about five minutes walk from the railway station. They also have lockers in the lobby that you can use for the storage of luggage if you arrive before your check in time, which was very helpful. As with most Japanese hotels the rooms are a little on the small side But ours was more than adequate for our needs.
