If you’re looking for a traditional experience, I highly recommend this lodge. The staff are absolutely wonderful—always attentive and happy to help with any request. They even provided us with a pickup and drop-off service to Akakura when we wanted to go out for drinks but couldn’t drive. The location is great if you have a car, with plenty of parking available. However, without one, getting around might be a bit tricky as there isn’t much nearby. That said, Akakura is only a five-minute drive away. The lodge features a traditional onsen with communal showers, but every time I used them, I had the space to myself. It’s something to keep in mind, but overall, this was an amazing stay!

we really enjoyed our stay ay Park lodge sekine, the room was newly renovated and had very comfortable befs, the room was massive with enough room for our 2 young children to play. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, they ensure all guests gets to the mountain of theyre choice on time and the road is always cleared of snow. the bathrooms are always spotlessly clean. They really work around the clock for ensure your stay goes seamlessly.
