Elina “Cosy well equipped cottage”

The cottage is quite spacious. It has two sitting rooms, with both having a fire place. The sitting room facing the garden in the new extension has a beautiful view of the garden due to ceiling to wall windows. The garden is quite large, not what you expect considering this is a terraced house. It is also well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped, has all of the equipment you will need to make food, also has lots of plates, cups, cutlery etc They also provided coffee, sugar, tea, cooking oil and other essentials for cooking and hot drinks. The kitchen has a dining table that comfortably seats 6 people. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower and the other has a shower and a bath. The one upstairs is better and has a good water pressure. The rooms are spacious, have lots of storage options and beds are large and comfy. We stayed at the cottage end of October, beginning of November for two weeks and it was very warm, even without using the fireplaces. Although the cottage is on a street with regular traffic, there was no noise and it was quiet at night. The location of the cottage is great for hiking and exploring Scotland. Lots of beautiful walks are a short drive away. Muthill is right next to Crieff that has plenty of dining options (some deliver to the cottage) and two big supermarkets (Co-Op & Aldi). It is less than 30 min drive to Stirling and all the roads around it are scenic. Worth noting that shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, bin bags etc are not provided, so make sure to bring your own.

It was very spacious and modern, although being sympathetic to the traditional character of the house, also the facilities within the house were good and the space outside in the garden at the rear of the house was relaxing and beautiful.
