Mürren is a car-free town and can only be reached by train or cable car. Cars have to be parked at the valley station.
Please note that there is no elevator and the rooms are only accessible by stairs.

For my particular purpose in Mürren, as a participant in a weeklong sports camp, the location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. In general, it is about midway to anywhere in Mürren, which makes it quite convenient. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room had everything I needed, except for a bar of soap, which I had to get elsewhere. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of fresh bread and a popular egg cooker. Coffee and tea are freshly prepared to order for each guest, which is truly excellent. The view from the breakfast room is also a highlight. The only shortcomings at breakfast were the lack of fresh fruit (the single bowl of apples did not quite suffice) and the juice, which was just not very good. Still, I appreciated other details, such as the daily fresh-cut slices of cucumber and tomato, which paired nicely with a boiled egg.

This miiiiiight be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. If you can get the view over the valley, it's priceless. I had a private balcony and I could see Stechelberg far below, and Wengen in the distance. Eiger, Jungfrau and Moncke were directly opposite. Murren's a lovely place to begin with, and the hotel is nicely placed close to both Coop and the train station. The restaurant's nice too. This place isn't cheap, but come on. It's Murren.
