CHIHIRO “A fine accommodation which has a lot of activity options to offer in the middle of the park”

We booked a unit for 2 nights for a quick getaway from Kampala, where we live. We just avoided the beginning of the high season (which is said to be July-September, when the lodges in the park receive a lot of guests from Europe, the US, etc.). So, we were the only foreigners staying at the facility when we stayed. The lodge was always nice and quiet, and the staff members were quick to respond to all our needs. Some of the things that we were particularly happy about include, but not limited to the following: Game Drive - the lodge has a licensed guide/ranger and safari vehicles. The ranger, named Moses was very knowledgeable and provided a very comfortable and enjoyable game drive for our family. He maximizes the chance to see rare animals like lions by communicating with other guides/rangers in his network to identifies the whereabouts of the animals. Staff - it is a child-friendly environment with staff members who are always willing to be attentive to children. There is also a small play room with toys to keep small children occupied for a while. The owner is also very hospitable.

Facility was nice and clean. It had cozy and earthy atmosphere while mentaining the nature feel. I also liked that everything includung the game tour, ruver cruise and others can be arranged at this hotel on the spot. Especially, the breakfast on the top of Murchison Falls was worth paying some extra for!!

The staff were lovely and helpful. The place was clean. A lot of activities to enjoy and a place for toddlers as well.

The staff was fantastic and very attentive. Rooms were nice. Food was great. They tried their best to provide us with good vegetarian meals, which does not seem like a very common demand.
