To keep our accommodation costs as affordable as possible for all guests, we have adopted a pay-as-you-go system for certain amenities, such as locks, bath kits, and towels. By charging for these items, we can maintain lower base prices for our rooms, making our hostel accessible to budget-conscious travellers.We understand that different travellers have different preferences and requirements, so we aim to provide flexibility in our offerings. However, we cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room. During periods of limited availability, guests may be assigned a different room type.Please note that local IDs are allowed on our property.Please note that the Hosteller's Unbox Cafe is vegetarian, and we promote self-service only.The cafe operates only for limited hours.Right to admission reserved.This hostel is situated in a highly remote location. The property is 25 KM from the centre of Munnar. Please avoid the Anachal route while coming; the best time to reach the property is before 16:00.Please note that drugs and outside food are not allowed at the property.The hostel is pet-friendly. However, pets are allowed in private rooms only. Pets are strictly not allowed in the dorms. Any damages, in case, incurred during the stay shall be attributable to the pet owners.Discount coupons will not be applicable if the guest requests an upgrade.Alcohol consumption at the property is only allowed in designated common areas and inside private rooms.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

I recently stayed at a backpacker hostel during my travels, and the experience was both memorable and enjoyable. The hostel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff who were always ready to help. The dorm rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared spaces encouraged interaction among travelers from all over the world. I particularly appreciated the location—it was central and made it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transport. Although it could get a bit noisy at night due to the social nature of the place, it was part of the charm for anyone looking to meet new people and share travel stories. The amenities were basic but sufficient, and overall, the hostel offered great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers or anyone on a budget looking for a fun and social environment.

Had such a great experience staying in The hosteller property. The room which i was provided were quite spacious and clean. It was whole lot of fun staying in there. They also have play area which you can chill with your friends like table tennis and many more indoor games. You can also visit with the family too. If i had to describe about the room then it would take at least 2-3 pages. It has such an amazing views in the back. We spend whole day not doing anything just enjoying the views which it has to offer. Food over here is good , you can get all the things in The Hosteller. Staff were very friendly and nice, they will guide you everything about places to visit in munnar and other offbeat places. Also the bonfire experience was fantastic.
