The hotel was very handy to the ubahn station and also close to shops. The breakfast was very good and the staff helpful. We arrived early and were able to check in to our rooms. In my experience of checking in in Germany, this was the exception! Rooms were very clean.

The positive reviews on the hotel were confirmed 100%. As a family of 4, we needed two rooms and the VFM was quite good. Rooms were nice and clean with a modern look. Not very big but just sufficient for two people. Breakfast was great with a wide selection to choose from. No hot dishes. There is a U-Bahn station (Line U2) right next to the hotel, which is very convenient as you can reach city center in approx 30 minutes (Sendlinger Tor). From the airport you can get to the hotel in approx 50 minutes depending on selection of connections. A big shopping mall is located in the same complex which is open Mon-Sat. The food court was quite extensive with many options, while the super markets were also convenient for daily needs. Bakery stores open earlier (around 08:00?) which was great to grab breakfast and coffee. Bear in mind the mall closes at 20:00. After that, a few restaurants and a couple of fast food joints remain open till later if you need to eat. Huge parking lot underneath open 24/7. There is also a rental car office next to the hotel and you can pick up/drop off the car from. This information I could not find prior to the trip so it was a pleasant surprise when I required a car for a day. Hotel is also close to the eastern part of the city ring road in case you are arriving by car. Surrounding area (Messesee) adds a pleasant ambiance. Nice and quiet area overall but I assume it is not the same when there are events in the Munich Messe exhibitions center.
