I have been staying at the Excelsior for many years, as the location is fabulous for reaching all of Munich, much by foot, but trams and S-Bahn within a few minutes.

The location was amazing - train station, metro, tram and bus stops all just a few steps away. The tourist attractions are a short walk too - Karlsplatz was just 1 road down. Breakfast was good. We were travelling with a child and the hotel was very kind. They even upgraded our rooms because we had a long stay.

Comfortable room/ Location fantastic as direct access from the train/subway station/line through the huge underground shopping area. Room was facing a road - noisy but didnt really affect me. Breakfast was delicious with both buffet (cold) and ala carte items (hot). A good choice for staying in Munich
