very close to Taj Mahal Hotel, so you could go for meals, coffees and beer over there, but use the causeway shops and the Leopold Café as well as the massage shops

Comes with everything you can ask for as a backpacker, given the very reasonable price by Mumbai standards: room had AC and fan, towels, sheets, toilet paper, even a bed side table and small lights next to the bed (I didn’t see that very often yet in India). Staff was friendly, communication beforehand was very helpful to find the exact location as there are a few places around with a similar name. I loved that it happened to be just across the Cafe Leopold’s since I really liked the Shantaram book.

Hotel has excellent location. Decent rooms. Not much to write about amenities, but cant complain because the price of the hotel at this location compensates. Plus most things are available just outside the hotel, so all in all satisfied with the property.
