The hotel had a really nice vibe, and the bed was super comfy. It was really clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even dropped off an evening treat each evening. I also liked the location - lots of places were in walking distance of the hotel, and a map was provided with recommendations of things to do. I did also have the shared toilet room (I had a private shower in the room itself). This actually went better than expected, and easy to manage (toilets were always clean and there was always one free).

Abode is a beautiful home where everything is taken care of. The environment is so welcoming, from the communal space to your room. All the lovely little touches make such a difference. Eye masks, ear plugs, bath robes and slippers. I didn’t want to leave. The staff are also super friendly and accomodating and speak good English. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is delicious and you’re always greeted with a warm welcome in the morning. They also organise some great tours. I’d recommend the early morning tour - early wake up but you see parts of city life that are gone by 8am!
