The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that the property's electricity generator runs only from 18:00 until 00:00 daily due to environmental conservation.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The resort is by the river and nicely landscaped. The rooms are a good size and the staff will drive you to the Rainforest Visitor Centre and airport

Restaurant with view to the river, billiard table, bar with also local beer from kuching, european and local breakfast with fruit plate, supper and dinner included in cruises for additional fee. Tours by boat and into the caves with bats are recommendable. Enough time to walk NP at your own. NP is half an hour walk, but Benerat team brings you there and back by car free of cost. Shutle to and from airport also invluded. On tour to clearwater river take a bath in warm clear water from the cave.

We stayed at Benarat Lodge for three nights and had a great time. The lodge is located close to the airport and offers a free pick-up and drop-off service. The staff help you plan all your activities, and everything is organized perfectly. A special thank you to the very kind manager, who even helped us check in at the airport.

The room was immaculately clean. Aircon was freezing cold. Shower clean. Staff were delightful and super helpful. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough.
