Cute cottage in working sheep and cattle farm. Was so lovely to be able to see the animals nearly right outside the door every morning. Cottage was original but very well kept, neat and tidy. Beds were comfy. Short drive to the beautiful town of Mudgee with great restaurants, cafes and wineries.

we have stayed before and will stay again : ) Claire is fantastic - so accommodating, and the house works great for us. We like walking on the farm, and have walked through the field to go fishing in the river, and even saw a platypus there once! Air conditioned, a big table (excellent for board or games), 2 living areas, and a cute little verandah a couple of us sat on to enjoy the birds singing. We also love feeding the chickens and collecting our own eggs. The house has character and is nicely decorated. A short drive from Mudgee and from the cute little town of Gulgong - we recommend a visit!

Claire and her family were very welcoming. There’s lots of space to spread out and for kids to run and play. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing with friendly animals and tracks for walking.

The cottage was cute, big enough for us all & had everything we needed. The fresh eggs, flowers & note on arrival was a lovely touch. Although we didn’t see the note until as it was folded until 2nd day, so not much internet without wifi on the 1st night.
