I truly enjoyed my holiday at Theonie’s place. She is a warm, helpful, and cheerful host who made me feel welcome from the very first moment. Regarding the location: I spent six days there without a car and had a wonderful time. However, if you want to explore more of the island, I highly recommend renting a car. It’s not only more convenient but also more affordable than taking a taxi, which can be quite expensive and sometimes even unavailable. For me, the priority was simply to relax by the sea – and this place was perfect for that. There’s a large beach nearby and a smaller, even more beautiful one just around the corner. It truly feels like a private island – peaceful, quiet, and ideal even for skinny dipping. It’s usually completely empty. Thanks to Theonie’s thoughtful lighting installation, I could even go for a swim at night – a magical experience! The room was spotless and well-equipped, with a direct view of the sea – waking up to that view every morning was pure bliss. Theonie went out of her way to make my stay special. She shared great tips for excursions, including boat trips to explore sea caves and visits to local farms where you can buy fresh goat milk, cheese, and honey. A special mention goes to the delicious meals Theonie prepared for me – both breakfast and lunch were always fresh and full of flavor. All in all, it was a perfect stay. I’ll definitely be back. We loved the location of the property, it was great 1st holiday for our son. Theonis is a lovely warm host who welcomed us like we were family. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
