The flat was a good size for 2 adults and 2 children, the beds are comfortable, shower’s good and location’s great.

We visited Mousehole in late January when it's off season. You can desribe Mousehole then as either a quiet town or a loud village. No much going on but then again that´s perhaps not why you go there in the first place. The keys were collected from a key safe with instructions provided via text upon arrival. You never see your hosts. Our accommodation was smack in the middle of Mousehole. Two bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen made a comfortable stay. When you opened the front door you stepped right Into the street. You can go by bus from nearby Penzance - the service is surprisingly frequent - but perhaps a car is needed. Bear in the mind that the streets are narrow. You need to be observant. There is a car park at the harbour - five (5) quid a day – or a big carpark at the northern part of Mousehole which cost 13 quid a day. We had the opportunity to choose but then again this was off season. There are four or five restaurants in Mousehole and that may not sound a lot but they're all of very good quality, especially The Old Coastguard. Do try the Cornish sole!
