What a stunning hotel. Beautifully converted mansion which envelops you in calm and serenity as soon as you walk through the front door. Our beautifully decorated room was spotless and huge with a massive bathroom and walk in shower. Beds incredibly comfortable with high quality linen. Staff were welcoming and even showed us round some of the other rooms, (ask to see the one with its own elaborate alter!). Breakfast served on the terrace was delicious and varied. Moura is a great base to explore the region and we plan to return to Amada Moura next timer we are in Portugal.

Our stay at Amada Moura was amazing. Before arriving, we kept in touch with the host and they were very responsive. Our check in was also very easy and flexible. The room was great, very spacey, very well decorated, we loved some details of how they managed to merge modern decoration with some vintage/historic elements (e.g., the wardrobe, the light switches, etc.). It felt like travelling a bit back in time but at the same time having the comfort of modern times. The bathroom was also beautiful. Everyone was very nice and available. The breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from, very healthy and tasty. The courtyard is such a calm place to relax, with the pool and the lemon tree... it just begs to slow down and enjoy the moment without rushing.
