Absolutely stunning location with breathtaking views of Aoraki/Mt Cook. The Hermitage Hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-run, with friendly staff and solid dining options. A perfect base for exploring the national park. Would definitely stay again.

It is certainly the largezt property in Mt Cook National Park and as a result offered the most facilities. The Edmund Hillary museum was great as was the planetarium and 3D film. The rooms were cosy and clean but a little dated.

Great location with sensational mountain views, convenient to the activities related to glacier exploration and stargazing. Breakfast buffet is amazing, lots of choices.
