Easy walk to shops of Mt Barker. Easy to to get to coming in from Victoria. Very friendly host who was quick to respond to questions before we got there, and met us to say hello on arrival.

The owner of the property was incredibly lovely and generous. I was very tired on the day of arrival, and she kindly allowed me to check in early without charging any additional fees. Communication was always prompt and thoughtful. She even offered us her free-range chicken eggs and brought us milk to meet our dietary requirements. The view from the main room and the backyard was spectacular. This place truly felt like home; it reminded me of summer holidays at my grandmother’s place back home. Very comfortable and deeply healing. We will definitely be back again.

Great location, good little cottage very comfortable. Had a very good chat with Nina the host, she is lovely! More than happy to cater for my dog as well.
