Lovely and quiet. We had the place to ourselves ! My husband took the kids to the Puy du Fou for 2 days and 1 night so I had it really to myself with the dog. Easy to get food shopping from Mouchamps 5 minutes away. Found a walk around Mouchamps that followed a small river and part of the village. Enough countryside to walk around with the dog whilst the rest of the family was at the Puy du Fou. Amazing place with an abandoned chateau on site. Very comfy beds. Lovely hosts.

Absolute stunning location , stunning scenery, family were incredible friendly and welcoming. The history of the buildings is incredible.

The host family was super welcoming and keen that we had a comfortable stay. We were treated to a tour of the chateau grounds and buildings, which have significant history - thank you for showing us round and helping us to understand more about the property's story! We were provided with a local brioche for breakfast which was a lovely gesture. Everything was clean and comfortable, in a perfect location to drive to Puy du Fou for a breathtaking few days.
