This place has so much character and a really nice, wholesome feel to it - you can relax here. Despite the age of the furniture (we're talking vintage stuff) the place felt really clean. Parking was super easy. The hosts arranged for my parents to have a ground floor room which was really helpful.

Nice fairly spacious room with own bathroom in an interesting old home. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of food. Owner met us on arrival and was quite helpful.

The hostess was very kind and prepared breakfast outside of normal hours, as we had to leave very early. She told us about the history of the house and its unique layout, which made for a wonderful experience.

This place is a true masterpiece. It's so inspiring when an owner pours their heart and soul into their business, creating a breathtaking place. She doesn't just rent out rooms; she shares joy and gives her guests a unique experience. Every corner tells a story, every item has a past. The scent alone — a beautiful mix of old books, dried herbs and berries — is the breath and soul of the house, while old photos, mounted on the walls, are it's eyes. Take a good look into them and you will see how beautiful they truly are. Every single frame depicts long gone people from different times, places and families, but they all look so... alive. It's like they are still here, reassuring you with their silent presence. This house is truly a time machine that transports you into a classic novel. We didn’t just get a room; we got a full immersion into another reality. This is what travel is all about — living the story, not just seeing it.
