Sophie and her family are so beautiful, and she can share so much of her wisdom about the country. Sophie is an amazing human and helping so many of her family and friends to get education and opportunities to thrive in Tanzania. She will go out of her way to help you!

The house was clean and comfortable with many cool chill spots and beautiful gardens. The location was perfect, just next to the road yet queit and peaceful. The surrounding neighborhood is perfect for a relaxing walk on run. Sophie's sister was so warm and lovely, we felt at home the moment we stepped on the compound. Sophie too is such a happy soul. We all really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Sophie was a great host! She was super friendly and helped us arrange everything we needed. We felt very welcome and at home with her. All the staff was very friendly and the service was great. Overall the best stay we had in Tanzania

We truly enjoyed our stay at Sophie’s Homestay. Sophie and her team are wonderful hosts — from the very first moment we felt genuinely welcomed, appreciated, and completely at home. It’s definitely worth staying more than just one night, as the atmosphere and hospitality make you want to slow down and enjoy the place. Sophie is also very helpful in organizing additional day trips and giving great local advice. The homestay is located in a beautiful and very safe neighborhood, and on clear days you can even see Mount Kilimanjaro, which is absolutely special. The shared dinners were delicious and full of warmth, and we really appreciated how carefully they considered all of our allergies. The rooms were clean and well kept, with very comfortable beds. Overall, a truly memorable stay that we would highly recommend.
