I loved the host! Very kind and helpful. And the place is beautiful. Hot showers, great scenery, reliable WiFi, clean and cute rooms and lounges. Also close enough to the shops, toen and the trails. Will definitely be booking again 😍

Kiliwoods Hostel is an absolute gem in Moshi. The host, Welima, is simply incredible welcoming, warm, and genuinely caring. Staying here truly feels like being at home. We had fascinating and meaningful conversations, and she goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable. The hostel itself is a cozy home, with a lovely green courtyard and garden where you can relax peacefully. Its location is perfect: slightly away from the noise of the city, yet very easy to reach by tuktuk (about 700 TZS). From here, access to the stunning Materuni Waterfall is super convenient. There’s also the opportunity to visit the orphanage supported by Welima local community organization Worthy of Hope Tanzania, which is a beautiful and impactful experience. You can find various volunteering opportunities and have a real impact on the local communities.
