The property is brilliant comfy beds and sofas for when you’ve been out exploring all day. The bread, doughnuts and milk were a very welcome treat for when we arrived and fresh flowers, slippers for walking around in the lodge and a selection of coffee pods for the machine,. Some really nice touches for the stay.

Really comfortable, well equipped lodge.Comfortable beds.Great little extras & fresh flowers, milk & bread & doughnuts on arrival. Great position to visit seaside & inland villages too. Close to A1 is so easy to travel either direction. Great cafe at Nelson park in Swarland.

Loved everything about this lodge. We stayed here for a week after moving out of house whilst we were between places. Such a beautiful place and myself, partner and our kids didn't want to leave!

Everything was amazing. The quality of the furnishings, kitchen equipment, bedrooms and bathroom were all finished to a high standard. The welcome pack was lovely, Bread, Milk, Doughnuts, fresh flowers, butter, jam and a fully stocked coffee machine!. Extras like cleaning cloths, tea towels, bin bags, condiments, cotton wool, face cloths and ear buds in both bathrooms. Slippers to wear in the lodge and fire sticks in all 3 TV's. The lodge was warm and perfectly located for a peaceful stay nestled in a corner with no passing traffic. We can not wait to come back again. My biggest comment was that usually when you see photos and then see lodges in reality its never quite as good BUT this i can say is exactly as the advertised photos show if not better.
