Lovely cottage in a very quiet area. Beautiful surrounding countryside. We used it as a base for travelling around Northumbria. Everything needed was catered for, including tea and coffee. Kitchen towels. Washing up liquid, shower gels, and shampoo. Well stocked kitchen and even bird food to feed the birds. A variety of which visited the feeders often and can be seen from the front window. Absolute bargain price for the 4 nights. A house a couple of doors down offers fresh eggs for a small price.

Beautiful cottage with a lovely log burner for cosy autumn nights. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Owner had kindly put up a temporary gate to make the garden secure for my dog. Water was hot and kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Parking available out front. Quiet and peaceful area. I adored the character of the cottage, would absolutely stay again.
