Rose cottage is in a great location just a short walk to the town. Morpeth is a lovely town good shops, cafés, bars & restaurants made even more special with the Christmas decorations and Christmas tipi which were all fab. The cottage was decorated for Christmas which was lovely, overall the cottage is a lovely place to stay, it has undergone a good renovation just a few things need attention and it would be perfect. Unfortunately there was no welcome pack which is something you normally get with this kind of accommodation basics milk biscuits etc but the shops are close by if you need anything. We did have some minor issues but we would stay here again mainly for it's location and value for money. Hopefully the issues we mention will have been resolved by our next visit.

The most perfect, cosy stay for our 11th wedding anniversary. Everything was immaculate and the house smelt beautiful! The decor was absolutely gorgeous. The bath in the bedroom was amazing, as were the toiletries (they smelt super luxurious) the hot tub was fab too! Perfect that it was pet friendly so our two little pooches could come along too.
