The ambient of the interior and the exterior of the hotel. The hotel is located in very quite village so excellent place to rest after long working hours. The breakfast is great to satisfy all kind of tastes.

Hotel Morimondo was booked over a year before my stay and it was worth the slight detour on my route to Rome to stay here. The hotel is next to a medieval Abbey in a very quiet courtyard with private parking. They have their own restaurant serving an excellent range of meals. The room was comfortable and the hotel made arrangements for a very early departure. I would recommend this hotel for a longer stay in the Milan area.

Unfortunately I had to be in Milan during a period where the city was overbooked, in my price range anyway. This hotel was the only choice I had and I booked it with no high expectation whatsoever. BUT, for my surprise : the location, the food, the ambiance was exactly what you’d dream of, when traveling to Italy. I don’t want to talk about the room or hotel in general. I will resume myself to the breakfast part. There was nothing savory( except for ham and cheese) though for my family-we all have a sweet tooth- it lightened up our day. There was a kind of cake out of polenta, brownie, tarte/pie and the most delicious, buttery homemade biscuits I’ve ever eaten, made by the hotel’s chef himself.
