Carole “very peaceful mini-break in a beautiful location”

The farm is down a track surrounded by fields - very peaceful. The cottage is so cosy and well equipped. Our small dog was delighted to meet the farm dogs and horses. The views around the cottage are beautiful - we were lucky to see the aurora borealis from the top field. The cottage is perfectly located close to many interesting Cotswold villages and things to see - e.g. Bourton-on-the-Water, the farmers market at Chipping Norton, the Rollright stones, Stow-on-the-Wold, Batsford Arboretum etc.

The host greeted us on arrival. We were late to arrive but nothing was a problem. The cottage itself was immaculate. Everything you need for a holiday stay was there. They had even left a pint of milk in the fridge for our arrival. There were towels. The bedding was fresh and clean. Little extras like washing up liquid and a tea towel. There is a folder with useful information and locations for shops and all amenities. The cottage is nearby a village that has wonderful resturants. The grounds the cottage were in were stunning. There was a place to have a BBQ and seating outside. The cottage was spacious and welcoming.
